Two friendly matches scheduled for the Indomitable Lions in June! (Official)
The Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot), led by Samuel Eto’o, has officially announced the national team’s schedule for the upcoming international break in June. This training camp is part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the United States and the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The head coach has planned a training camp in Morocco during this period, where Cameroon will play two friendly matches. The first will be against Uganda on June 6, followed by a clash with Equatorial Guinea on June 9. Both games will take place at the Grand Stade de Marrakech.
Meanwhile, several media outlets have reported negotiations between the Cameroonian and Algerian football federations to organize a friendly between the two teams. However, these talks did not come to fruition.
Christian Kofane, a possible surprise for the June training camp?
Young Cameroonian talent Christian Kofane could be included in the coach’s extended squad after a standout season with Albacete in Spain’s Segunda División.
This season, he featured in 18 matches, netted 8 goals, and provided an assist, drawing plenty of attention to his potential.
