Two reinforcements for Wydad ahead of the Club World Cup!
Wydad Athletic Club is on the verge of finalizing the signing of Burkinabé striker Stéphane Aziz Ki, star of the Young Africans club in Tanzania. The player arrived in Casablanca this morning to undergo a medical before putting pen to paper on the official contract.
This signing is part of the club’s preparations for its participation in the Club World Cup, which will take place in the United States from June 15 to July 13 this year.
With solid experience gained in Europe, Côte d’Ivoire, and Tanzania, Aziz Ki is expected to be a major asset to bolster Wydad’s attack. According to sources close to the deal, the transfer fee is estimated at around $360,000.
Hamza Hannouri officially joins Wydad
Meanwhile, the Red Club has officially announced the signing of Hamza Hannouri, a forward recruited from Fath Union Sport, on a three-year contract. This addition aims to strengthen the squad ahead of upcoming challenges.
This signing comes at the special request of coach Mohamed Amin Ben Hashem, who is well aware of the player’s technical abilities and potential.
