Two young Beninese talents impress scouts in Tunisia

They are young. They are talented. In Tunisia, two young Beninese players made a name for themselves at a prestigious international scouting camp.

First up, Haliq Gadjada. The striker, who is the top scorer in Benin's Ligue 3 with Soleil FC, hails from Bassila and was one of the standout performers at the camp. On the final day, he delivered a stellar performance: two goals, one assist, and five chances created. His positional awareness, composure in front of goal, and relentless work ethic truly caught the eye. He emerged as one of the most prominent center-forwards of the tournament. European scouts have already shown concrete interest, and his entourage is working to further increase his exposure in the coming weeks.

Alongside him, Romdone Akambi Nadjimou also stood out. Versatile, technically gifted, and dynamic, the left-back from Jeunesse Athlétique de Kétou (JAK) impressed during the final match. Smart positioning, sharp attacking runs, and pinpoint crosses—Romdone was back to his best. His logical progression has seen him become one of the top players in his position at this camp.

The camp has now concluded. But for Haliq and Romdone, a new chapter is just beginning. They have managed to catch the eye of numerous scouts from England, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and beyond. Their names are starting to circulate. They are definitely ones to watch.
