With just days to go before the close of the 15th edition of the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, the time has come for the tournament's two best teams to face off. The grand final will see Morocco take on Mali in a promising clash between two rising powers in African football.

The Atlas Lion Cubs are just 90 minutes away from a long-awaited continental triumph. But standing in their way, the Mali Eagles are determined to topple the host nation and claim a third title following their successes in 2015 and 2017.



The semi-finals lived up to expectations:

  • Morocco qualified on Tuesday night by defeating Ivory Coast in a penalty shootout (4-3) after an intense match.
  • Mali, on the other hand, confidently overcame Burkina Faso (2-0) to secure their place in the final.

The decisive match will be played on Saturday, April 19, at the Al Bachir Stadium in Mohammedia (Morocco), starting at 19:00 (GMT).
