UEFA Champions League: PSG, Hakimi and the moment of truth!

On the eve of a decisive clash against Arsenal in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final, PSG’s Moroccan superstar Achraf Hakimi addressed the media with confidence, alongside his coach Luis Enrique.

Buoyed by a 1-0 victory in the first leg, the Parisian powerhouse approaches this return fixture with belief, but without overconfidence.

"We are focused and motivated; we want to reach the final," declared the Moroccan full-back.

Hakimi: "The Parc will be a real force"

The experience gained in last season’s Champions League campaign has brought calm to the squad, according to the Moroccan international. "We know how to handle these big occasions, and the crowd will play a key role. The Parc will be a real force."

Hakimi warned against any form of complacency: "We have to stick to our style and avoid sitting back. Arsenal have weapons, especially from set pieces." Physically, he says he is "in one of the best shapes of his career."

The man with 84 caps for Morocco also praised the impact of Luis Enrique on his development: "He’s given me freedom in my game, which has helped me grow."

Now a leader, Hakimi wants to inspire the younger players: "Setting an example is my responsibility."
