Update: Barcelona injuries ahead of Valladolid clash

Barcelona's absences against Valladolid

Robert Lewandowski sustained a hamstring injury in the closing moments of Barcelona’s match against Celta Vigo, ruling him out of the upcoming fixture. However, there is cautious optimism that the Polish striker could make his return in next week’s clash with Inter.

Meanwhile, young talent Bernal faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering an ACL tear during the league game against Rayo Vallecano earlier this season. Defender Jules Kounde also joins the growing injury list, having been substituted with a hamstring issue during Wednesday’s encounter with Inter. The French international’s condition raises concerns that he may not feature again this season.

Additionally, midfielder Casado is expected to miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season after picking up a knee injury in the La Liga match against Atletico Madrid just before the March international break.
