The 2025 FIFA Club World cup kicked off in dramatic fashion as Inter Miami clashed with Al Ahly in high profile opener early Sunday in the U.S

However it was retired Argentine legend (Sergio Aguero) who lit up social media after the match.

The game saw Lionel Messi lead Inter Miami in front of packed stadium including viral American YouTuber Speed, die hard Cristiano Ronaldo supporter.

Aguero to Speed: "I Prefer Messi Over Ronaldo"

While attending the match, Speed approached Aguero seeking help to meet Messi. But the former Man City striker responded cheekily:

"You're massive Cristiano fan, right? I respect that. He’s great player but I definitely prefer Messi"

Aguero then delivered pointed jab, adding:

"Will Ronaldo play in this Club World cup? or maybe he’ll have to watch it on TV"
