It was night of contrasting emotions at the Allianz Arena as Bayern Munich beat Borussia Monchengladbach 2 - 0 in Round 33 of the Bundesliga.

While Harry Kane lifted his first ever trophy, club legend Thomas Muller played his final home match for the German champions.

Kane Ends Trophy Drought After 15 Year Wait

Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 31 minute before Michael Olise sealed the win late on. With the Bundesliga title already secured last week thanks to Bayer Leverkusen's draw, Bayern formally received their 34th league crown after the match.

For Kane it was personal milestone finally lifting silverware after years of heartbreak. The English striker'd lost 6 major finals with Tottenham and England including the 2019 Champions league and the Euro 2020 and 2024 finals.

Emotional Goodbye for Muller in 750th Bayern Game

Thomas Muller 35, made his 750th and final , Bayern appearance at the Allianz Arena. He was honored before and after the game for his 25 years of service making him the first player in german football history to reach that milestone with single club.

The World cup winner celebrated with fans in style leaping into the stands with the Bundesliga trophy in hand. Over his iconic career, Muller scored 247 goal and assisted 176 time for Bayern Munich.
