Mohamed Salah says his priority before leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2025 /26 season is clear: secure Champions League qualification.

The Egyptian forward scored in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Everton on Sunday 19 April then spoke openly about his final weeks at Anfield.

Salah delivers again in crucial win

Liverpool claimed a late victory in the Merseyside derby, with Salah playing a key role as the team kept pace in the race for a top four finish.

Speaking after the match to Sky Sports, Salah focused less on his goal and more on the bigger picture.

“It’s a great feeling to win here at Everton.. The most important thing was helping the team regain confidence” he said.
