Vinícius Júnior's Controversial Celebration Stirs Real Madrid Fans After Defeat to Valencia

Vinícius Júnior's recent celebration sparked outrage among Real Madrid fans following their disappointing 2 -1 loss to Valencia on Saturday in La liga.

Despite missed penalty in the 13th minute Vinícius managed to score the equalizer for Real Madrid early in the 2nd half 50. Hugo Duro clinched the win for Valencia in the 5 minute of stoppage time.

Vinícius Celebrates Personal Milestone

Vinícius's goal brought his tally to 104 goal, matching the legendary Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima as the most Brazilian scorer in the club's history.

Vinicius celebrated his achievement on Instagram which provoked frustration among fans who were upset with the team's performance & their diminishing title hopes in La liga.

"A special day I'm honored to reach the same number of goals as my favorite player Ronaldo, becoming the Brazilian with the most goals in this historic club." Vinícius wrote.

He added:

"I came here as young player and Ronaldo taught me how to score goals. Thank you for your advice & reassurance"

Vinícius Reflects on the Defeat

Regarding the defeat to Valencia, Vinícius expressed his frustration:

"A bad match and we know we need to improve But Madrid will never give up.. See you in London"..

Real Madrid will face Arsenal in the champions league quarterfinals on Tuesday at the Emirates Stadium.
