West Ham adjusts Mohammed Kudus' price tag based on interested clubs

West Ham United has decided to set the transfer fee for Mohammed Kudus based on the profile of the interested clubs. The London club is aiming to maximize the profit from a potential sale of their Ghanaian attacking midfielder during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Ghanaian attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus, under contract with West Ham since August 2023, has attracted significant interest on the transfer market as the 2025 summer window approaches. The Hammers, fully aware of the player's value and the mounting interest, have decided to set multiple price points depending on the type of club seeking his signature.

Indeed, West Ham has established a differentiated pricing structure to either facilitate a deal or maximize revenue depending on the potential buyers. For European clubs outside England, the asking price is set at a minimum of £80 million. English clubs, however, will have to fork out at least £85 million, while Saudi clubs are faced with a much higher release clause of £120 million, which is valid only between July 1 and July 10, 2025.

It’s worth noting that several top clubs have expressed interest in Mohammed Kudus. In England, Arsenal and Manchester City are considering strengthening their midfield by signing the Ghanaian international, who has played 29 Premier League matches for West Ham this season, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists. Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, Al-Nassr and Al Ittihad are ready to make substantial offers to lure the 24-year-old star.
