The battle is set to be fierce for the title at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2026).

Morocco will play host to the 14th edition of the flagship women’s competition from March 17 to April 3, 2026.

The Burkina Faso national team will be making their second appearance in the final stage of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2026), following their debut in 2022.

In the 2022 edition, Burkina Faso was eliminated in the group stage after losing to Morocco (0-1) and Senegal (0-1), and drawing with Uganda (2-2).
