World Cup 2026 goal: Neymar to the Premier League in January?
Neymar

With the clear warning from Carlo Ancelotti, Brazil's head coach, Neymar is determined to do everything possible to feature for Brazil at the 2026 World Cup. The Santos superstar is now being linked with Premier League clubs in England.

Neymar's contract with Santos expires on December 31. The English press is already buzzing about a potential move for the Brazilian to the Premier League as early as January. Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the 33-year-old, who has returned to his boyhood club, could become a free agent, and several clubs have already reached out to gauge his availability.

The Sun has already listed five possible Premier League destinations for Neymar. Among them is Chelsea, long linked with the Brazilian star. The Blues remain an attractive option, even with their new youth-focused recruitment strategy. Manchester United could also be tempted by his talent and commercial appeal, while Manchester City under Pep Guardiola might try to harness his technical brilliance, despite the physical demands of the league.

Liverpool could welcome Neymar to revitalize their struggling attack, while Newcastle—thanks to their Brazilian contingent led by Bruno Guimarães and Joelinton—could offer him a familiar environment.
