Tunisia will face Malawi on Monday in a match counting for the 6th day of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The Carthage Eagles lead their group (13 points) ahead of Namibia (11 points) and Liberia (7 points).

The new coach Sami Trabelsi is expected to inject fresh blood into his starting eleven compared to the lineup against Liberia.

In this regard, it is highly likely that right-back Mahmoud Ghorbal will make way for newcomer Houssam Hassan Ben Romdhane. Furthermore, the inclusion of Ferjani Sassi at the expense of Anis Ben Slimani is possible, while Elias Achouri is likely to start the match instead of Naim Sliti.
