World Cup 2026 qualifiers: Walid Regragui faces growing criticism
The coach of the Atlas Lions, Walid Regragui, is under heavy criticism following Morocco's narrow performance against Niger.

The North African team had to fight hard on Friday to secure a 2-1 victory over the Mena in a match counting for the 5th round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The fans packed into the Stade d'honneur d'Oujda were not thrilled by their national team's performance and did not hold back in criticizing coach Walid Regragui.

The former Wydad coach is under fire for his tactical and technical choices deemed flawed and his inability to get the best out of his players.
Regragui slammed on social media
The strongman of the "Atlas Lions" has not been spared on social media, as evidenced by the following excerpts collected on X:
