According to the Egyptian press, Emam Achour's exclusion was primarily due to disciplinary reasons rather than technical considerations.

Despite his undeniable talent, the former Zamalek player is missing out on a great career largely due to his lack of discipline.

At 27 years old, the native of El Senbellawein was trained by Al Mahala before moving to Haras Al Houdoud, Zamalek, FC Midtjylland, and Al Ahly.
