Wydad prepares for a third friendly match!
Wydad Athletic Club suffered a second consecutive defeat in a friendly match on Saturday, May 31, this time falling to FC Porto by a score of 1-0. The game was played at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca.
The match was tightly contested and well-balanced overall, but the Portuguese side managed to clinch victory thanks to a goal from Spanish forward Samu Omorodion, who capitalized on a defensive error by Ayoub Bouchtat.
This latest setback comes just days after a similar 1-0 loss to Sevilla FC, as part of Wydad's preparations for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
