Yannick Gomis extends his stay in Cyprus

The story between Yannick Gomis and Aris Limassol is set to continue. The Cypriot club officially announced this weekend that the Senegalese striker has extended his contract. The 33-year-old will stay for another season, now tied to Aris until May 31, 2026.

Having arrived in Limassol in July 2022, Yannick Gomis has established himself as a seasoned presence within the squad. His leadership, discipline, and instinct for goal have impressed the club’s executives, who have once again chosen to put their faith in him. The announcement was made by the club through an official statement published on its website and social networks.

A former RC Lens player, Yannick Gomis brings invaluable top-level experience to the Cypriot side. Even if he is no longer at the peak of his career, his presence remains a valuable asset.
