Youssouf Sabaly is closing in on a move to Qatar

Youssouf Sabaly could soon be leaving Spain. The Senegalese right-back is on the verge of signing with a club from the Qatari league.

Currently at Real Betis, Youssouf Sabaly remains under contract until 2026. He joined the Andalusian side in July 2021 after a spell at Girondins de Bordeaux. This season, he has featured in 34 matches across all competitions, providing 3 assists.

At 32, the Senegal international remains a consistent and experienced player. But according to Foot Mercato, a move to Qatar now looks to be on the cards. Al Duhail, well known for recruiting players from Europe, would offer Youssouf Sabaly a fresh challenge in a new environment.
