Youssoufa Moukoko to replace Jonathan David at Lille?

In search of a successor to Jonathan David, who is set for a move to the Premier League, LOSC reportedly has its sights set on Youssoufa Moukoko. Loaned out this season to OGC Nice from Borussia Dortmund, the German international of Cameroonian descent is one of the top priorities for the northern club as they look to bolster their attacking line.

Still under contract with Dortmund until 2026, Youssoufa Moukoko has struggled to make his mark in the Bundesliga. His mixed spell at Nice, where he scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists in 22 appearances, was not enough to convince Les Aiglons to keep him on. However, at Lille, he is seen as a bet for the future.

At just 20 years old, Youssoufa Moukoko remains one of the most promising talents of his generation. LOSC hopes to provide him with the right environment to flourish, offering more playing time and renewed confidence. This is a story to follow in the coming weeks.
