Yvan Neyou on the radar of this La Liga club

Yvan Neyou has never been closer to a return to the limelight. Out of contract with CD Leganés, the Cameroonian midfielder is said to have reached an agreement with Valencia CF, according to Tribuna Deportiva. The deal is wrapped up, pending the final green light from president Peter Lim.

At 27 years old, Yvan Neyou is coming off a stellar season. Twenty-seven appearances in La Liga, a metronome role in midfield, and a consistency that has caught the eye of the Mestalla recruiters. His profile—technically gifted and industrious—fits perfectly with what the Valencia staff are looking for to bolster their midfield.

After a spell at Saint-Étienne, where he briefly shone before a quieter stint at Leganés, the Douala native looks ready to take the next step. Joining Valencia means returning to the top level and meeting the demands of a historic club. For now, the ball is in Valencia CF management’s court.
