Recently, several reports have circulated about a possible signing of Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo, currently with Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, with Inter Miami. The idea would be for him to join the team to reunite with his eternal rival, Argentine Lionel Messi, during the Club World Cup, scheduled from June 15 to July 13 of this year.

According to a report by British radio (TalkSport), the former Real Madrid star could join Inter Miami to participate in the competition, before returning to Al-Nassr at the start of the next season.

The report also states that Ronaldo could renew his contract with Al-Nassr, while having the possibility to sign a short-term contract with Inter Miami or one of the clubs participating in the now-reformed Club World Cup.

Fabrizio Romano denies any contact between Cr7 and Inter Miami

However, Fabrizio Romano, a recognized expert in the transfer market, has denied these rumors about a collaboration between Ronaldo and Messi during the Club World Cup. According to him, all speculations on this subject are unfounded rumors.

Romano posted a tweet on his X account, in which he stated:

" 🚨❌ Reports that Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will play together at Inter Miami for the Club World Cup on a short-term contract are completely false.

There is absolutely nothing true in these stories."
