2026 World Cup: Parking prices at stadiums revealed
Preparations are ramping up for the 2026 World Cup. FIFA has announced the prices for parking at stadiums during the tournament.
The 2026 World Cup is shaping up to be the most profitable in history. Indeed, FIFA is looking far beyond just ticket sales for revenue.
According to reports from The Athletic, FIFA has identified a new gold mine: parking. By launching its own official website for ticket holders to reserve parking spots, FIFA has set prices that are already raising eyebrows—up to $175 (151 €) to park for a semi-final or the third-place match, and $75 (65 €) for a regular group stage game, notably at Texas’s AT&T Stadium.
It’s worth noting that these parking fees sometimes exceed the price of certain match tickets from the 2022 World Cup, where a category 3 ticket for a group stage game actually cost less. Organizers plan to roll out this pricing structure across several of the tournament’s 16 stadiums, most of which are NFL venues surrounded by vast parking lots—a golden opportunity to squeeze every bit of value out of every square meter.
