Three clubs vie for the Algerian gem
On his Twitter account, Plettenberg confirmed that prestigious clubs such as AC Milan, Stuttgart, and Bayer Leverkusen are closely monitoring Maza's progress and are actively working to recruit him in the upcoming summer transfer window. These clubs have already started positioning themselves to try to convince the player.
According to the same sources, although Maza favors a future in the Bundesliga, he does not rule out the idea of a transfer abroad. It is expected that his situation will be clarified in the coming weeks, with an estimated price of 15 million euros.
Here is what Florian Plettenberg stated in his publication:
“If everything goes as planned, Ibrahim Maza will leave Hertha BSC this summer. Several clubs, including Milan, Stuttgart, and Bayer Leverkusen, have already begun steps to recruit him.
A decision should be made in the next four weeks.
His goal is to stay in the Bundesliga, although the idea of playing abroad remains an option.”
Meanwhile, the German daily Kicker has reported that Xabi Alonso's team, Bayer Leverkusen, is particularly impressed by Maza's potential and has already started official negotiations to acquire his contract from Hertha BSC.
