Al Ahly SC's outlined key requirements for its next head coach following the recent departure of Swiss tactician Marcel Koller according to local Egyptian reports.

A report revealed that Al Ahly’s board's focusing on 3 core principles when selecting their next managerial appointment:

• (Longevity & Stability) The new coach must be ready to commit to long term project aiming to build sustained era of success at the club.
• (Project Oriented Vision) Beyond short term wins, the new manager must contribute to the development of broader footballing vision at the club.
