Here are three reasons behind Mourinho’s keen interest in Cameroonian Frank Zambo Anguissa.
A huge admirer
The former Chelsea boss tried to sign the Cameroonian midfielder back in 2022 while he was in charge of AS Roma. In the end, Napoli moved faster and managed to convince Fulham to sell him for €10.5 million.

Tactical maturity
The Cameroonian star has reached full tactical maturity, having played at the highest level in Europe since 2016. At 29, Zambo Anguissa has made huge strides in terms of tactical awareness.
European competition experience
The Indomitable Lion is no stranger to Europe’s top competitions—the Champions League and Europa League. For the record, Fenerbahçe SK has secured their place in next season’s Champions League.
