  • Born in Saint-Herblain, Diaz holds both French and Ivorian nationality. He plays as a central defender.
  • Standing at an impressive 1.93 meters, he is one of the most physically imposing defenders at Troyes, where he's been playing since last summer.
  • He came up through the ranks at Nantes, signing his first professional contract in July 2023. He made a name for himself during a loan spell at FC Annecy in the 2023-2024 season.
  • He has no shortage of suitors in France, notably Lorient, as well as in Belgium, where Antwerp and Anderlecht are keeping tabs on him.
  • The 21-year-old is an Ivory Coast U23 international who has yet to receive a call-up to the senior Elephants squad.
