- Born in Saint-Herblain, Diaz holds both French and Ivorian nationality. He plays as a central defender.
- Standing at an impressive 1.93 meters, he is one of the most physically imposing defenders at Troyes, where he's been playing since last summer.
- He came up through the ranks at Nantes, signing his first professional contract in July 2023. He made a name for himself during a loan spell at FC Annecy in the 2023-2024 season.

- He has no shortage of suitors in France, notably Lorient, as well as in Belgium, where Antwerp and Anderlecht are keeping tabs on him.
