Coming off the bench late in the match against RC Strasbourg (83’), Keyliane Abdallah made his mark on the party by scoring Olympique de Marseille’s third goal (89’). It took the young Franco-Comorian just six minutes to net his first professional goal.

Bruno Genesio’s gamble to throw the Mahoran into the deep end paid off, granting him crucial minutes to send a strong message to the competition. "Honestly, I still haven’t processed it. Everything happened so fast in my head. I’m really happy because this rewards all the effort I’ve put in," he told La Provence, savoring the moment.

Here are five things to know about the Marseille gem:

- Born on April 5, 2006, Keyliane Abdallah plays as a right winger. He hails from Kani-Kéli, a French commune at the southern tip of Grande-Terre island, in the overseas department of Mayotte.

- After several years rising through OM’s ranks, from the U17s to the U19s, he reached another milestone in 2024 by making his debut with the B team. He also enjoyed a six-month loan spell in Spain with Gimnàstic de Tarragona (13 matches, 2 goals).

- He is the nephew of Toifilou Maoulida, former OM striker and veteran of several French clubs, who played 372 Ligue 1 matches (71 goals).

- Abdallah was called up by Bernard Diomède in September 2025 to the France U20 squad for a friendly against Spain U20. He remains eligible to represent either Les Bleus or Comoros at senior level.
