A rematch in sight... Algeria seeks revenge against Cameroon

The Algerian national football team could face Cameroon in the upcoming international window.

In search of an African opponent for the June FIFA Day, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has set its sights on Cameroon's "Indomitable Lions."

According to the site DZ Foot, negotiations are underway between the football authorities of the two countries regarding the details of this friendly encounter (location, date...)

To recall, the two teams last clashed in Blida in 2022, during the second leg of the playoffs for the 2022 World Cup.

Having won the first leg in Cameroon by the smallest of margins, Algeria was defeated at home 2-1, with a crucial goal scored by Karl Toko-Ekambi in the 120th minute+4.

Should this friendly match take place, Algeria would have a great opportunity to exact revenge against Cameroon.
