A Tunisian international on the verge of joining the Süper Lig!

Tunisian international left-back Amin Cherni is expected in Turkey on Monday evening to finalize his transfer to Göztepe, a club competing in the Turkish Süper Lig.

According to sources close to the negotiations, the 24-year-old player is set to sign a three-year contract with the Istanbul-based club. The total value of the deal is estimated at around one million euros.

Cherni joined Stade Lavallois in 2023 from FC Chambly. Under the guidance of Olivier Frapolli, he quickly established himself as a starter, but saw his playing time decrease last season due to competition from Frenchman Williams Kokolo.

French radio station Oxygène reports that this transfer represents a significant financial opportunity for Laval, which plans to use part of the fee to strengthen its squad in the coming days.

With 6 goals in 67 appearances for Laval, Cherni has stood out for his versatility and his ability to contribute on both ends of the pitch. Performances like these have attracted the attention of several European clubs.
