Aaron Bibout: Västerås SK turns down bid from Genk

Västerås SK has turned down an offer of around €1.7 million from KRC Genk for Aaron Bibout. The Swedish club is reportedly holding out for a higher fee before considering the departure of their 20-year-old Cameroonian striker.

Arriving just three months ago from LA Galaxy II, Aaron Bibout has been lighting up Superettan with 6 goals in 12 matches. His performances have attracted plenty of interest both in Sweden and abroad. But head coach Kalle Karlsson remains resolute:

We have been clear from the start: selling him this summer is out of the question.

The 20-year-old Cameroonian forward himself confirmed Genk's interest in an interview with VLT. While rumors are circulating about a possible final game for VSK, his coach stays cautious:

I know Aaron feels good here. But a move to Europe is, of course, tempting.

For now, no official decision has been made, but coach Kalle Karlsson expects more suitors to come forward before the transfer window closes.
