African strikers reign supreme in Europe!

African forwards are making a huge impact in European club competitions during the 2024-2025 season.

Three African players lead the scoring charts across all three major continental tournaments (Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League).

In the Champions League, Guinea's Serhou Guirassy, the main man at Borussia Dortmund, sits atop the scorers' table with 13 goals, ahead of Brazil's Raphinha (12 goals) and England's Harry Kane (11 goals).

Moroccan striker Ayoub Kaâbi, playing for Greek side Olympiacos, leads the Europa League scorers with 7 goals in 8 matches.

Meanwhile, Congolese forward Afimico Pululu dominates the Conference League scoring chart, having netted 8 goals in 12 appearances for Polish club Jagiellonia Bialystok.

He is closely followed by his compatriot Cédric Bakambu, the Real Betis striker, who has scored 7 goals in 12 matches.
