After Ashour and Zizo... a new "traitor" is closing in on Al Ahly

Latest reports suggest that the CAF Champions League titleholder has set its sights on Tunisian defensive midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, currently playing for the Hungarian club Ferencváros TC.
A preliminary agreement between the two parties seems closer than ever, much to the dismay of Espérance de Tunis supporters who have branded their former protégé a traitor for negotiating with their arch-rival.

Before entering negotiations with Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, Al Ahly successfully signed two former Zamalek players, namely Emam Ashour and Ahmed Sayed known as Zizo.
Both players were also labeled as traitors and faced harsh criticism on social media.
