A first-half strike from Robert Lewandowski, set up by Dani Olmo, was enough to decide a narrow home victory for Barcelona against Mallorca in La Liga. The result was ultimately secured by second-half goals from Lamine Yamal and Marc Bernal.
This fixture also marked a notable league record for the Catalan club. Barcelona have now scored in 34 consecutive La Liga matches against Mallorca, a run dating back to 2002.
This streak surpasses their record against any other opponent, though it falls short of the all-time marks held by the Madrid clubs. Real Madrid scored in 36 straight games against Zaragoza, while Atlético Madrid managed the feat in 40 consecutive meetings with Valladolid.
