After two years of absence: Jérôme Onguéné on the radar of a French club

After a two-year absence from football, the Cameroonian centre-back may return to the French second division, but this could certainly be a great opportunity for the player to get back in the game and prove himself.

The 27-year-old Onguéné started his career at one of the most prominent clubs currently in Europe, winning numerous trophies, including six domestic league titles, and has gained experience in European competitions having played in the UEFA Champions League on more than one occasion. The 32-year-old center-back, valued at €250k (Transfermarkt), isn't short of suitors. Austrian club SCR Altach has also registered concrete interest, while Africa Foot exclusively revealed in January that Switzerland and Bulgaria had previously tabled offers for the "Indomitable Lion."
