Al Ahly: more fear than harm for Emam Ashour

After suffering a health scare, Egyptian international Emam Ashour was hospitalized, according to the Arabic-language site kooora.

The Al Ahly midfielder underwent a series of medical tests before being cleared to leave the hospital.

According to the Egyptian press, the player has been given the green light to resume training starting with the Thursday, May 22 session.

Barring any dramatic turn of events, he is expected to be fit for the match against Pharco Football Club, which counts for the final day of the national championship.

Emam Ashour's record with Al Ahly

Signed in 2023 from FC Midtjylland, the former Al Zamalek player has featured in 84 matches across all competitions, tallying 29 goals and 19 assists.

At 27 years old, Emam Ashour is attracting interest from several Saudi clubs looking to sign him in the upcoming transfer window.
