Al Ahly: Zizo's debut against Messi

The Egyptian international Ahmed Sayed Zizo is officially a new player for Al Ahly.

With his contract ending at his current club Al Ahly, the 29-year-old decided to join the ranks of the arch-rival, following in the footsteps of Emam Ashour and Achraf Bencharki.

Zizo's debut with Al Ahly is scheduled for June 15, the date of the match against Lionel Messi's Inter Miami, for the first day of the group stage of the Club World Cup.

As a reminder, the Club World Cup draw placed the Cairo club in Group A, alongside the Brazilians of Palmeiras and the Portuguese of FC Porto.

Zizo's season in numbers

In the current season, he participated in 31 matches with his club Zamalek, across all competitions, scoring 8 goals and providing 8 assists.
