Al Ahly's 26-man squad for the 2025 Club World Cup announced

The Al Ahly delegation has taken off for the United States to participate in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The Cairo club's new head coach, Jose Riveiro, has named a 26-man squad for the campaign.

Goalkeepers: Mohamed El-Shenawy, Mostafa Shobeir, Mohamed Siha, and Mostafa Makhlouf.

Defenders: Yasser Ibrahim, Achraf Dari, Mostafa Al-Ash, Mohamed Hany, Omar Kamal Abdelwahid, Yahya Attiyatallah, Karim El-Debais, and Ahmed Nabil Kouka.

Midfielders: Marwan Attia, Hamdi Fathi, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, Ahmed Reda, Imam Ashour, Hussein El-Shahat, Taher Mohamed Taher, Achraf Bencharki, and Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet.

Forwards: Nits Gradychar and Wissam Abou Ali.

Two additional players are expected to join the squad in the United States: Ahmed Ramadan Mohamed, known as Beckam, and Ahmed Sayed, known as Zizo.

As a reminder, the reigning African champions will kick off the Club World Cup on June 15, with their opening match against American side Inter Miami.
