President Mahmoud El Khatib personally leading the search. Among the top names under consideration's French legend Thierry Henry who has emerged as the standout candidate to replace Jose Riveiro.

El Khatib takes charge of recruitment

According to Erem News, El Khatib's personally managing the negotiations for the new coach. He's expected to hold Zoom meetings with several candidates in the coming hours as the board seeks to accelerate the process.

Henry, Rose and El Badry in contention

Henry, with his global reputation & extensive experience's viewed as the leading option for Al Ahly’s ambitious project.

German coach Marco Rose, formerly of Borussia Dortmund is also on the shortlist. In addition former Al Ahly & Egypt boss Hossam El Badry has resurfaced as possible local alternative.

The final decision's expected soon with fans eagerly awaiting the announcement of the new leader to guide the Red Devils through critical season.
