Algeria: legendary English club sets its sights on Mohamed Amoura

The interest of Leeds United in Mohamed Amoura has reportedly resurfaced right at the end of the transfer window. According to TeamTalk, the English club is considering a late swoop for the Algerian striker, who was recently left out of the VfL Wolfsburg squad against Cologne.

Journalist Nabil Djellit confirms there is genuine interest, while pointing out that the file has been open for some time. However, he believes the chances of the deal being finalized before the window closes remain very slim.

Amoura's exclusion, officially attributed to disciplinary reasons, is not expected to accelerate a departure. Under contract until 2029, the Algerian international should continue his season in the Bundesliga, unless there is a dramatic turn of events.
