Morocco touched down in the United States this Thursday to compete in the 2026 World Cup.

The Atlas Lions of Morocco are set to face tough competition in their group. Their preparations kick off this Thursday, as they aim to leave another lasting mark on the global stage. Upon arrival, Achraf Hakimi was visibly excited.

"We are really thrilled to be here and to take part in such an important tournament. Of course, we're a bit tired; the flight was long, but as I said, we’re really happy. We're looking forward to starting training and meeting all the fans in America. We can't wait to get going and feel the support from Moroccan supporters here in America," said the European champion.
