French football legend Thierry Henry offered powerful words to Antoine Griezmann on Tuesday night following Atlético Madrid's qualification over FC Barcelona.

Yesterday, Atletico Madrid knocked out FC Barcelona (2-0, 1-2) in the Champions League. After the match, Thierry Henry made a point of praising Antoine Griezmann. The former French international delivered a heartfelt message to his compatriot.

"Antoine, thank you for everything you have done for French football, for the national team, and simply for the game itself. You’ve thrilled me. Finish well with Atletico and good luck in Orlando. And if you need anything, I know MLS," said Henry. Griezmann replied: "Thank you, coming from you, a French legend, that means a lot to me."
