With Tuesday night's victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final, Vincent Kompany is just one step away from surpassing Pep Guardiola as Bayern's manager.

In the summer of 2024, Vincent Kompany was appointed at Bayern Munich. Yesterday, the Belgian coach oversaw his 100th match on the Bavarian bench. The Belgian secured his 76th win, alongside 13 draws and 11 defeats. Only one coach has done better at the start of his tenure in the club's history: Pep Guardiola. The Catalan boasts just one more victory.

To overtake him, Vincent Kompany will have to make another big statement by winning the Champions League this season—something the current Manchester City boss never managed to achieve in his three years at the helm.
