Benfica - Real Madrid: final verdict delivered for Prestianni!

UEFA has made its decision in the Gianluca Prestianni case. The Benfica Lisbon player has received a six-match suspension, with three matches suspended, for "discriminatory" behavior related to comments directed at Vinícius Júnior during a Champions League match.

Initially accused of racist insults, the Argentine has always denied these allegations.

"What hurt me most was being accused of something I never did," he insisted, denouncing a misinterpretation of his words.

The European governing body ultimately ruled on "homophobic conduct," thereby validating his defense. Prestianni also lamented being "punished without evidence" in a case that has sparked heated controversy across Europe.
