The Egyptian team fell to Brazil (2-1) in a friendly match played overnight from Saturday to Sunday at Huntington Bank Stadium in Cleveland, USA.

The Seleção seized an early lead as Bruno Guimarães opened the scoring in the 7th minute. But Egypt responded swiftly, with Mostafa Abdel Raouf "Zizo" drawing the sides level just four minutes later.

After the break, Carlo Ancelotti's men regained the advantage thanks to their young striker Endrick, who netted the winner in the 51st minute.

This victory allows Brazil to continue their preparations for the 2026 World Cup with growing confidence. The Seleção will compete in Group D alongside Morocco, Scotland, and Haiti.
