The Egyptian national team wrapped up its preparations for the 2026 World Cup with a defeat against Brazil (2-1) in a friendly match played overnight from Saturday to Sunday at Huntington Bank Field in the United States.

The Seleção clinched the win thanks to goals from Bruno Guimarães and Endrick, while Mostafa Ziko netted the only goal for the Pharaohs.

Despite the loss, there were several bright spots for Egypt, starting with the performance of Mostafa Chobier. The Al Ahly goalkeeper stood out on multiple occasions, denying dangerous chances and keeping his team in the game.

According to ratings from the specialist site (SofaScore), Chobier received the highest mark among the Egyptian squad with a 7.2, fully deserved for his top-level display.

Scorer of Egypt's sole goal in the game, Mostafa Ziko earned the second-highest rating (7.1), while Mohamed Attia rounded out the top three with a score of 7.0.

On the other hand, Mohamed Hany received the lowest rating among the Pharaohs with a 6.1.
