Bryan Mbeumo: Brentford continues to resist Manchester United's advances

Manchester United remains determined to secure the services of Bryan Mbeumo, but Brentford is putting up stiff resistance. The Red Devils have made repeated approaches for the Cameroonian, yet have failed to convince the London club to part ways with its star forward.

Since the start of the summer transfer window, Manchester United has made Bryan Mbeumo one of its top priorities to strengthen the attacking line. United’s management believes the Cameroonian—who netted 20 Premier League goals last season—perfectly fits the profile sought by the head coach. After an initial €65 million bid was turned down, Manchester United returned with a €70 million offer. However, this still did not convince the Bees to let go of their 25-year-old striker.

Negotiations between the two clubs have been ongoing for several weeks. Manchester United is still hoping to reach an agreement in the coming days, but Brentford’s resolve is making the deal increasingly difficult. As pre-season kicks off, uncertainty continues to surround the outcome of this saga.
