Bundesliga: The top 5 best African players

Several African players made a significant impact during the 2024-2025 edition of the Bundesliga, which concluded last Saturday.

The stats-specialized site whoscored has released the definitive ranking of the competition's best players.

With 21 goals and 2 assists for Borussia Dortmund, Guinean striker Serhou Guirassy was crowned the best African player of the 2024-2025 Bundesliga season.

He edged out Algerian Mohamed El Amine Amoura, who netted 10 goals and delivered 12 assists for his club Wolfsburg.

Third place went to Nigeria’s Victor Boniface, the Leverkusen forward who scored 8 goals and provided just one assist.

He finished ahead of Equatoguinean Morgan Guilavogui, who posted a tally of 2 goals and 2 assists for Saint-Pauli.

Algerian Ramy Bensebaini rounds out the Top 5 thanks to a performance of one goal and 6 assists for Borussia Dortmund.
