CAF Champions League: date, channel, schedule of the semi-finals

Football fans in Africa are in for a treat this weekend with the semi-finals of the two flagship club competitions, the Champions League and the Confederation Cup.

The CAF Champions League semi-final matches will take place according to the following schedule.

Saturday, April 19

1:00 PM GMT: Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) - Ahly (Egypt)

Where to watch the semi-finals?

The semi-final matches will be broadcast by CAF's traditional media partners, namely Canal+, Super Sports, and beIN Sports.

The journey of the semi-finalists

Mamelodi Sundowns finished second in their group behind AS FAR Rabat. In the quarter-finals, they eliminated Espérance de Tunis with a cumulative score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Al Ahly finished second behind Orlando Pirates in the group stage before defeating Sudan's Al Hilal 2-0 on aggregate in the quarter-finals.

Orlando Pirates dominated their group to qualify for the semi-finals at the expense of MC Alger with a 1-0 aggregate score.

Finally, Pyramids finished second in their group behind Espérance de Tunis. They qualified for the semi-finals ahead of AS FAR Rabat with a 4-3 aggregate score.
