CAF Champions League: Zamalek and Pyramids to represent Egypt
Egyptian football has named its representatives. The Egyptian Football Association has confirmed that Zamalek and Pyramids will take part in the CAF Champions League 2026/2027.
The two spots went to the top teams from the previous season. Club Zamalek finished the campaign at the summit after a thrilling finale. The White Castle Knights outpaced Pyramids and Al Ahly in a dramatic title race that went down to the wire, clinching the Egyptian crown.

Meanwhile, Club Pyramids finished second in the Egyptian Premier League for the fifth time in a row. While itâs a frustrating league finish, it doesnât take away from their continental success. The club captured its maiden CAF Champions League title in 2025. Both teams are now set to carry Egyptâs banner on Africaâs grand stage next season.
